This was my first visit & I went together with a group of girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. There is complimentary valet but also a spacious parking lot in the back with a short walk on a sidewalk to the restaurant. There is a flight of stairs inside to go to the restaurant. The employees were very welcoming and I immediately enjoyed the dining decor including the big bar area and the cute Annie cart. I saw there was an outdoor sitting area along with a large party room with a baby shower occurring at the time. Our server was amazing! She was so patient with our group trickling in and the other employees helped to refill our water very consistently. She also gave helpful recommendations! We ordered watermelon margarita, espresso martini, and Strawberry rose refresher. We all enjoyed our drinks. One friend said the espresso martini was strong. We got the bacon wrapped quail & scratch biscuits as appetizers to share. The biscuits were very fluffy and delicious. I'm not a fan of quail but I enjoyed the fried legs here a lot. I got the Annie Steak Tartare and my friends ordered the egg & chorizo enchiladas, brioche French toast & buttermilk pancakes. The steak tartare was paired well with toast & tart flavored leafy greens. My friends enjoyed their meals but the enchilada did have a slightly burnt bottom. We chose bread pudding for our complimentary dessert, which was perfectly sweet. We had a great time here with very good service and a beautiful ambiance. I would love to come back again.

You can always tell you're in for a great experience when the hosts look like secret service agents with fancy earpieces. Lol. There's a lot to unpack here, so I'll try not to bore you while keeping all the juicy details. My wife planned a surprise trip to The Annie to celebrate my 39th birthday. She knows I enjoy experiences rather than just sitting down for dinner. Well, The Annie didn't disappoint. When we arrived, the exterior of the building was extra fancy and looked stunning at night. We used the valet service, which was complimentary (though tips are, of course, not included). The main restaurant is on the next level, accessible by either an elevator or stairs. Since I'm lazy, you better believe I opted for the elevator. When we reached the main floor, it was a little confusing figuring out where to check in, but we quickly found it. A couple of minutes after checking in, one of the "Secret Service" gentlemen approached us. Now, here's where the fun begins. There was plenty of open seating near the check-in area, so I thought, OK, he's going to seat us at one of these tables. But nope! Instead, we followed him through the back of the restaurant, through the actual kitchen, to what appeared to be a random shelf rack. You only see this kind of thing in a James Bond movie! The shelf rack turned out to be a hidden door that led to another part of the restaurant. I couldn't believe it! This hidden section even had a live band. We ordered a ton of food, so here's a quick list of the items we tried. I'll rate each dish using stars (*), with 5 being excellent and 1 being gross, followed by a brief summary. Keep in mind, there were three menus to choose from, each representing a different establishment. Here's the rundown: Ahi Tuna Ceviche | *** | Great presentation but lacked flavor and seasoning. Wagyu Filet Mignon | ***** | Tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Truffle Mac N Cheese | **** | Creamy, delectable, and beautifully presented. Brussels Sprouts | **** | Bleu cheese adds a nice touch with fresh, hearty flavors in every bite. Corn with Cotija Cheese | ***** | Absolutely amazing, reminiscent of Mexican street corn. Fingerling Potatoes | ***** | Cheesy, well-seasoned, and perfectly tender. Cheesecake Dessert | ***** | Unbelievably tasty, with rich, creamy goodness throughout. On top of the incredible food, they gave us complimentary drinks and rum shots just because! The live band was interactive and highly entertaining, and the wait staff was phenomenal--extremely accommodating and attentive. I could go on and on about this place, but I'd probably never stop writing. The prices can be steep depending on what you order, so keep that in mind. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

What a treat!! A group of friends visited here for our monthly brunch. I loved the floral notes throughout the restaurant, making the environment feel like a garden party. I visited during Houston restaurant weeks. The menu had ample offerings, and allowed us to try a variety of dishes. Service was attentive. For brunch I had the mushroom soup, pasta dish (added shrimp), and a lemon cake to finish! All food was quality and I hope to return on another girl's outing soon!

Visited the restaurant for the first time and fell in love with it! We tried HRW menu, the Kale Salad and Wild Mushroom Soup were both delicious. All 8 in our party were debating if we should order salmon but felt salmon was too common. In the end we all ordered salmon cause it's so healthy and let me tell you, all 8 of us were amazed! It was cooked just right and so so flavorful! Also the wait staff were friendly and courteous. They were so patient with us and offered us helpful suggestions. Love the ambiance, perfect for many occasions, birthday, shower, date lunch or even work lunch. A big shoutout to the Chef Emeritus Robert del Grande! You are amazing!

I really wanted to give them 5 stars. The ambiance is truly first class, clean, modern, and very inviting. The service is top notch. Amelia was great, and friendly, and knowledgeable on the entire menu. Overall the food is really good, with great presentation, HOWEVER, our food was lukewarm at best, DEFINITELY NOT HOT, and some might call it cold. However, It was Valentine's Day, the place was packed, and I assume they were overwhelmed with customers, low on staff, and unable to move all the hot food out to customers on time. I absolutely want to come back on a less busy day, and see if their amazing food tastes even better when it is served fresh and hot.

Been to Annie's three times. The first time was 7/23/2021, second was 2/14/2023 and the third was 11/17/2023. Each time I've came, the food was impeccable as well as service. We always have reservations and are seating promptly upon arrival. The first time I came here was the day my now fiancé asked me to be his girlfriend. During that dinner, the waiter asked if we were celebrating anything and we told him, jokingly, that we just became a couple and he surprisingly gifted us with a dessert saying happy anniversary. For Valentine's Day of 2023, the restaurant was decorated lovely with a lovely backdrop for pictures that was appropriate for the occasion. And during our last visit in November, my fiancé had coordinated with the restaurant to have flowers arranged on the table and rose petals which unbeknownst to me was the setting for my proposal. Everyone was so kind that night, they even went above and beyond to obtain video footage for us from a patron that was walking by and caught the ending of our proposal. Each visit to Annie's was memorable and enjoyable. There's valet parking that accommodates us each visit as well.

We love the Annie. It's a classic. Perfect for girls lunch, date night or a bite before checking out Havana. Or bites at the bar, although the bar service last time wasn't great. Food is consistent and very good. Love the nachos and brunch menu. Nice patio that more low key than Toulouse and Brasserie 19. Elegant and upscale decor and atmosphere.
